Experience
6- 8 years in medical devices/Pharmaceutical industry, preferable experience of Key account management.
Position Summary
The position is responsible for achieving the defined sales targets & growing the business of BD Pharmaceutical system in the assigned region. Responsibility includes Sales/Marketing and Business Development in assigned region’s Pharmaceutical Base. The incumbent will also be responsible for undertaking new projects which would include the planning and execution piece
Principal Responsibilities
Managing relationships with current customers & developing newer contacts with in existing accounts
Increase Customer base & Product mix of the assigned region
Achievement of account budgets
Exploring & convert opportunity for BDPS strategic Product Portfolio within current & new customers
Ensure business Process adherence for assigned customers
Exploring opportunities for other BD businesses in Pharma industry
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
Facilitate change management within the organization - develop competencies of Sales Associates to build a high performing team
Responsible for communicating with team and ensuring that the organizational goals are well understood
Ensure objective performance evaluation and management of team; establish a culture of constructive feedback and continuous improvement thereby developing and leading a group of energized and aggressive sales professionals
Ensure high motivation and enthusiasm level of team members
Unique Knowledge & Skills
Demonstrated Success interacting, working with and communicating with diverse customer base such as General Management, Sales, Marketing, Strategic Planning, R&D, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, etc.
Excellent communication skills in a multi-cultural environment within an international
organization
