MBA from Premier B-School

Experience

6- 8 years in medical devices/Pharmaceutical industry, preferable experience of Key account management.

Position Summary

The position is responsible for achieving the defined sales targets & growing the business of BD Pharmaceutical system in the assigned region. Responsibility includes Sales/Marketing and Business Development in assigned region’s Pharmaceutical Base. The incumbent will also be responsible for undertaking new projects which would include the planning and execution piece

Principal Responsibilities

  • Managing relationships with current customers & developing newer contacts with in existing accounts

  • Increase Customer base & Product mix of the assigned region

  • Achievement of account budgets

  • Exploring & convert opportunity for BDPS strategic Product Portfolio within current & new customers

  • Ensure business Process adherence for assigned customers

  • Exploring opportunities for other BD businesses in Pharma industry

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

  • Facilitate change management within the organization - develop competencies of Sales Associates to build a high performing team

  • Responsible for communicating with team and ensuring that the organizational goals are well understood

  • Ensure objective performance evaluation and management of team; establish a culture of constructive feedback and continuous improvement thereby developing and leading a group of energized and aggressive sales professionals

  • Ensure high motivation and enthusiasm level of team members

Unique Knowledge & Skills

  • Demonstrated Success interacting, working with and communicating with diverse customer base such as General Management, Sales, Marketing, Strategic Planning, R&D, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, etc.

  • Excellent communication skills in a multi-cultural environment within an international

organization

  • Experience of Pharma industry
