FlowJo, a subsidiary of Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD), located in Ashland, OR is seeking a qualified customer and marketing support specialist to join our small team. This role will work across commercial operations, marketing and sales teams replying to customer inquiries, processing orders, enhancing marketing efforts, and supporting our customers. This role also collaborates with field application scientists, technical support, order fulfillment, and commercial strategy to identify and convert qualified leads for sales opportunities.

We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated, and organized individual who has customer support experience and motivation to consistently provide exceptional support. Ideal candidates are versatile self-starters with the ability to learn quickly, possess a positive attitude, have great attention to detail, and the ability to work well within a dynamic team. A successful Customer and Marketing support specialist will work with the team to ensure that customers receive top tier support and that marketing activities are well-executed for FlowJo products. This is an on-site position in Ashland, Oregon with remote work flexibility during the global pandemic. Applicants must be legally permitted to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Quote, invoice, obtain payment and support customers

  • Maintain and manage campaigns through CRM

  • Coordinate tradeshow shipping and help plan events

  • Process orders, ship products, and activate licenses

  • Email and phone customer support

  • Collaborate with management to improve business processes

  • Execute marketing campaigns to convert leads

  • Communicate solution value propositions

  • Track and report sales conversions

  • Support order processing for internal regional teams

Required Skills/Experience

  • 2 years customer service experience

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Polished professionalism with strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills

  • Patience dealing with complex customer interactions

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

  • Great attention to detail

  • Strong passion for continuous learning, adapting, and taking initiative in a dynamic work environment

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Experience working with various IT systems

  • Experience working with a CRM
