The IDS Marketing Operations Manager will assist in the managing of go to market needs including but not limited to supply & demand strategies, contract compliance governance and forecasting best practice. This individual will play a critical role in the development of long-term performance expectations, marketing initiatives to enable sales efficiency directly correlated with financial objectives. This role will require someone willing to demonstrate leadership and drive long-term strategies by proactively engaging product experts, industry leaders, outside sales organizations and cross-functional teams within BD.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Leads and communicates long and short-term product related information with supply chain, customer care and sales. Utilizes BD’s cross-functional resources to improve supply allocation process to accelerate sales and reach business objectives Work constructively with internal functions including platform marketers, marketing communications, regulatory affairs, medical affairs, quality, finance, and sales Support US Region sales team for opportunity progression and conversion management: ensure sales team has the support, tools, and resources to enable rapid conversion from a product and supply perspective. Establish and maintain connection with sales and marketing for the IDS division to ensure seamless execution of mutual business objectives Ensure that all activities are consistent with the BD core values and comply with relevant internal and external corporate, legal, regulatory, and ethical standards Prepare forecast, projection, and project reports thoroughly and deliver on time to the relevant personnel. Align regularly with operations organization to successfully build product supply needs. Provide critical sku’s for reduction and financial impact to improve product portfolio, backorder management and future opportunities (Project Recode support) Engage and support key marketing initiatives based on business needs Other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field.

Qualifications

  • 1+years of relevant marketing/operations experience in medical device industry preferred, but not necessary.

  • Knowledge of working in a B2B environment; understanding of healthcare industry; exposure to cross-functional processes / requirements

  • Experience utilizing projecting management best practices with the ability to implement in a matrixed fast-paced scenario.

  • Knowledge of medical device requirements in supply, quality, and FDA regulated environment

  • Experience in developing strategy as well as demonstrating success in executing key initiatives.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with very little supervision. Resourcefulness and the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities are keys.

  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally

Special Skills:

  • Track record of achievement in delivering projects and influencing business outcomes.

  • Process and project management experience to help improve sales enablement and marketing operations.

  • Solid business acumen and knowledge of IDS organization

  • Sound decision making capabilities and the ability to make decisions, even in absence of consensus when necessary.

  • Creative out-of-the-box thinker who is intellectually curious, stays current on new trends, and takes calculated risks with novel ideas.

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills for a wide variety of audiences.
