BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) Deputy Manager - Key Accounts in Bangalore, India
Job Description Summary
The position is responsible for growing the existing business & identifying & converting new opportunities for MDS B2B business. Responsibility includes B2B sales & Business Development with Pharmaceutical companies.
The incumbent will also be responsible for undertaking new projects which would include the planning and execution piece.
ü Managing relationships across levels with current customers & developing new customers, will need to work on Opportunity Funnel Management.
ü Drive Revenue targets (by leveraging relationships and projects in the existing accounts / customers, Growing market by mapping and converting new opportunities ), and achieve region profitability
ü Exploring, strategizing and executing the account conversion strategy in line with the overall business objectives
ü Create and maintain excellent customer interface through leading edge customer focus and key account management, presentation skills, problem solving abilities and negotiation skills In order to drive BD's competitive advantage, differentiated market position and achieving well leveraged customer contracts
ü Administer product forecasting discipline, parallel coordination with commercial/ supply chain towards timely product availability and ensuring collection discipline, in order to achieve regions forecast accuracy targets, adhere to S&OP process
ü Working closely with the Technical team to ensure technical services are provided to the customer to bring about account satisfaction

ü Demonstrated Success interacting, working with and communicating with diverse customer base such as General Management, Sales, Marketing, Strategic Planning, R&D, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, etc.
ü Excellent communication skills in a multi-cultural environment within an international organization
ü Understanding of export market requirement in terms of technical documents, process, etc.
ü Experience of Pharma industry – B2B sales in pharma companies like API, Medical devices, etc. will be an added advantage
ü Excellent Presentation and negotiation skills
ü Understanding of using syndicated data like IMS, Euro monitor, etc.
