Job Description SummaryThe Technical Product Manager – Data Normalization will be responsible for creating solutions for issues related to integration needs within the MedMined suite of products. This position will also have ownership of collaboration with the MedMined software development team related to needed future product enhancements and functionality that will have direct benefit to the existing customer base.

Technical Product Managers – Data Normalization are also responsible for developing solutions by identifying potential opportunities, conducting customer research, and generating solution requirements. The Technical Product Manager determines the strategic direction, vision, and scope of integration capabilities necessary to support current and future MedMined solutions. This position will also be required to work with their clinical counterparts, software engineers, sales and other MedMined teams to resolve system integration issue to the customer's satisfaction and provide management reports and trending.

Job Description

Essential Roles and Responsibilities

  • The role requires strong technical experience with HL7, integration technologies and SQL.

  • Serve as subject matter expert on the integration needs related to MedMined suite of software solutions and capabilities.

  • Analyze solution needs and define scope requirements to ensure it meets market needs, including best practice workflows, scope of capabilities and user design.

  • Prioritize development efforts based on alignment with business goals, strategic direction, voice-of- customer feedback, and timelines.

  • Collaborates across solution groups on similar functionality to ensure common process and seamless integration.

  • Active and collaborative participation on cross-functional teams and includes members of support functions such as R&D, field operations, regulatory, quality clinical, sales, and user experience design to ensure proper integration solutions are implemented.

  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams/members without formal authority.

  • Demonstrates deep customer, technical/regulatory and/or clinical expertise; collaborates with appropriate parties to identify the drivers leading to customer data and integration issues.

  • Evaluates alternative solutions/decisions in light of the potential impact on the internal/external customer; understands the resource implications of solutions and makes customer-focused recommendations.

  • Work closely with application development and clinical managers to ensure the intended integration delivery requirements are satisfied by the solutions.

  • This role will be expected to perform hands on coding and performance optimization.

  • Partners with other internal stakeholders to assess how technologies can best streamline processes and/or add value.

  • Ongoing development and refinement of framework for enhancing the customer experience through the stable and efficient systems.

  • Has in-depth functional expertise and broad knowledge of integration products and methodologies.

Requirements

  • 10+ years relevant experience working with healthcare clinical data, within a hospital setting .

  • Strong HL7 experience required.

  • Knowledge of healthcare data types required.

  • Ability to convey complex technical information to a variety of levels within the organization.

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

Additional and Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Corepoint experience preferred.

  • Working knowledge of integration principles and its application in solving standard and non-standard technical problems, and have ability to identify trends and underlying problems.

  • Coding knowledge required, SQL, .NET, regular expression, T-SQL, and ETL processes experience preferred.

  • 3+ years’ Technical depth and hands-on experience preferably in software development or application support.

  • Personal characteristics: personable, detail-oriented, critical thinker, self-motivated, enthusiastic, resourceful, customer-focused and interested in mentorship of other team members.

  • Strong organizational, leadership and interpersonal skills.
