Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The Regional Business Manager leads a US-based Regional sales team.

  • This role is accountable for the attainment of sales goals in line with business strategy with the goal of attainment of budget for all territories within the region.

  • This includes management of all sales activities and the implementation of marketing programs as well as recruiting, training and development of Sales Consultants to ensure a successful and high performance sales team.

  • The Regional Business Manager coaches and manages 7-9 sales associates.

  • The Regional Business Manager possesses proven large account management and conceptual selling competence, demonstrated sales performance in the top 10% vs. peers and has the management and leadership talent to develop a cohesive, competitive, performance-driven Region.

Minimum Requirements:

This role requires the following skills and capabilities to foster success in the role:

  • Requires a BA or BS degree with proven sales management (leadership) and large account management success

  • Sets priorities for the team and marshals resources to get things done

  • Ability to drive the achievement of company goals through others

  • Strong financial and analytical skills

  • Gets results and proactively implement corrective actions, when necessary, to meet expectations.

  • Builds and/or leads effective teams.

  • Thinks strategically

  • Has the capability and capacity to drive a clinical sales process

  • Demonstrates successful coaching and mentoring

  • Evidenced skill in delivering all types of feedback

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills

  • Effective presentation skills

  • Creates urgency and proactively manages change

  • Easily steps up to conflict, quickly finds common ground and manages with courage.

  • Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of customers in area.

  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with customers and gains their respect and trust.

  • Finds opportunities for synergy, integration and efficiency

  • Adapts the sales process to meet market changes

  • Collaboratively works with local BD sales teams

  • Balances BD goals with customer needs in seeking a win/win.

Geography includes Utah, California, Washington, Oregon, Nevada. Must live in the geography or be willing to relocate.
