The Hypo North Setup Operator is responsible for all activities related to establishing the correct parameters of the various equipment required for the preparation of sterile products according to established procedures. This position also performs preventive maintenance on the equipment used in the department and ensures compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Responsible for performing all functions related to product quality and safety as well as regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction. Performs other duties as assigned.
C Shift- 6:00am- 6:00pm
Responsibilities
Prepares work area, equipment, and materials needed to perform production operations including but not limited to setting up and breaking down machines, selecting appropriate tooling and attachments, assembling product conveyors, placing bins and boxes at the proper heights, removing defective parts, cleaning out containers, replacing worn or broken machine parts, lubricating moving parts, filling hoppers, tanks, and other containers with raw materials or finished products, etc.
Assists in training new employees.
Adheres to applicable Standard Operating Procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Fills out documentation completely and accurately, notifies supervisor of any errors.
Wears protective clothing as required.
Stores materials and supplies in designated areas.
Notifies Production Supervisor/Manager of any malfunctions or defective materials.
Cleans and sanitizes work area, equipment, and processing lines.
Responds to customer complaints.
Education
Minimum Required: High School Degree or GED
Preferred: Associates Degree
Licenses / Certifications

Experience
- Minimum Required: Six months experience in manufacturing environment preferred
