Scope of Responsibility:

Strategic Orientatio n: Position is a senior level position within NA distribution that will directly influence the leadership team in the Covington DC.

Examples are the following: Influence and execute continuous cost improvement projects that will drive favorable financial results resulting that drive income accretion within the respective business unit P/L.

Drive on time receipts with the right product picked and shipped on time to impact company line fill rate.

Create engagement and positive work environment for the leadership team and associates within the areas of responsibility.

Drive continuous improvement culture through CAPEX investments and focus on process change. Lead GNOS recommended strategies at all

Position has direct influence on the next level of leadership down in the Covington DC. Will drive continuous improvement for the NA Distribution key driver goals encompassing: customer, quality, people, and cost.

Will hold site leaders in Covington accountable for the site NA distribution key driver goals

Impact on Business Results

Degree of Accountability : Accountable for achieving budgeted financials at Covington distribution center. Accountable for compliance to site quality management system. Ensure all site specific associates are adhering to EHS compliance and driving environment that keeps our site associates injury free. Responsible for continuous improvement of customer complaints. Ensure site is maintaining accuracy in the reporting of the site inventory asset. Attracting and developing the leadership levels at all responsible sites and driving robust succession plans. Examples of accountability are driving TRIR rate to company target, achieving monthly O&M and K&N budget invoice amount, achieving Covington budgeted % to sales target, achieving a robust site succession plan, and driving year on year continuous improvement with customer complaints per order/ line shipped.

Financial Impact : Describe the degree to which the position has an impact on those things that drive revenue generation and profitability and provide examples .

The key financial impact of this position is achieving the site budgeted cost per case/line shipped and achieving site budgeted distribution center expense as a percent of sales. Achieving and exceeding budgeted targets ensures Distribution Center is income accretive to commercial business units. Ensuring shipments are filled and shipped on time driving consistent customer satisfaction

Essential Fun ctions: Travel to responsible locations approximately 5-10 weeks per year.

6. KSA Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)


15 + years’ experience within distribution, transportation, and customs compliance.

15 + years’ of direct P/L experience 10 + plus years’ in general managerial equivalent roles


Bachelor’s Degree. Graduate degree strongly preferred.
