Leads all aspects of Supply Chain including SIOP, Demand Forecasting, Supply Planning, New Product Launch, Inventory Management, Consignment Management, Returned Good, Distribution of Clinical Product, Network Strategy, Capacity Planning, Lifecycle Management and Supply Chain oversight to meet or exceed customer service or financial targets.

About the role:

You will own full SIOP process for Demand Management, Manufacturing and Executive review. Lead demand Planning teams resulting in forecasts with minimum error through close work with Marketing and Sales. Establish targets and leads finished goods inventory levels to meet Customer Service (LIFR) goals and optimize inventory deployment globally to ensure minimal obsolete or expired product.

Own the consignment inventory programs using appropriate metrics and processes to achieve target inventory turns, reporting accuracy while minimizing expired or obsolete customer inventory.

Lead the distribution of Clinical Product with distribution partners in close contact with R&D and Clinical Department

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Initiate and coordinate Global Capacity Planning analysis and proposals to Senior Leadership

  • Recommend appropriate Supply Chains for New and Existing Products

  • Support New Product Commercialization by developing capacity requirements and SKU-level forecasts in close coordination with New Product Development, Marketing, Sales and Operations

  • Implement and track attainment to plan to ensure customer service goals are met

  • Lead lifecycle management programs to phase-out product and minimize obsolescence

  • Lead efforts to expeditiously resolve Customer Service issues coordinating with Marketing/Sales, Operations, and Quality Assurance

  • Use Lean and Six Sigma tools for process re-design in order to reduce waste, increase responsiveness while increasing customer service.

  • Coordinates Business Planning process to ensure demand accurately reflects long-range market and product projections

  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to management

  • Responsible for developing and oversight of the department budget

  • Recruit, train and lead supply chain resources and all subordinate levels.

  • Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, local and company regulations, policies and procedures for Health, Safety and Environmental compliance

  • Responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all company guidelines and policies.

  • Employee Hire and Termination Authority - Employee hiring requires second level approval. Employee terminations require Human Resources concurrence and sign-off

  • Financial and budget responsibly and signature authority for spending in accordance with company policies

About you:

To be successful in this role, you require excellent analytical, interpersonal, management and negotiating skills required

Posse a strong systems background, especially in ERP/APS/MRP systems

Excellent written and oral skills required

Excellent ability to use PC's and sophisticated software, especially databases and spreadsheets

Education and experience required:

Bachelor degree required in Business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or Logistics

Masters or MBA a plus

Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) a plus. Customer Service experience preferred

Lean or Six Sigma experience preferred
