Job Description SummaryThe Distributor Customer Experience Team is responsible for delivering an exceptional experience to our Distributors by being a proactive solutions-oriented partner. Our smaller teams of dedicated and knowledgeable individuals work closely with customers to provide a concierge level of service.

Reporting to the Director of the Distributor Customer Experience (DCx) Team, the Coordinator is responsible for supporting the DCx Team to deliver exceptional customer service experiences to our channel partners. He/she will work closely with the Director and Leadership Team, providing support to the department. This position will be involved in implementing process improvements and supporting special projects within the DCx Team. This position works very closely with the Director and the DCx Leadership Team to ensure the department’s stated goals are achieved. The duties of this position will adjust to the needs of the business as it grows.

Job Description

  • Supports the Leadership Team implementing department projects.

  • Works with the Director to monitor monthly department budget.

  • Oversees the training and audits within the department.

  • Manages the department SOP and work instruction process.

  • Develops presentations and meeting materials with direction from the Leadership Team.

  • Manages department operating supplies.

  • Pursues personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role and future opportunities.

  • Adheres to and ensures compliance with BD, Inc., guidelines, protocols, and policies.

  • Tracks, reports & escalates IT issues affecting team performance to the IT team.

  • Executes special projects as required.

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Knowledge of health care business, operations or clinical experience preferred.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Skilled in the use of personal computers and office software including experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook.

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Faces challenging situations head on and is able to take an unpopular stance on issues if necessary.

  • Ability to work with and maintain confidential information.

  • Self-directed.

  • Demonstrated excellence in the continuous handling of meticulous detail.

  • Strong data entry, proofreading, and typing skills.

  • Ability to work independently and support projects successfully.

  • Meets deadlines to ensure goals are achieved.

  • Willing and able to work flexible hours when required.
