The Global Associate Product Manager is responsible for developing and driving product portfolio strategy and execution of key marketing and change to win programs within the Becton Dickinson Acute Care Urology portfolio of products. This role will work and collaborate with multiple partner groups including R&D, Sales, Regional Marketing, Operations, Quality, and Regulatory.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with planning, development and implementation of marketing strategies and tactics consistent with franchise goals.

  • Lead and execute on all aspects of the product lifecycle.

  • Support operational, cost savings, and sustaining engineering initiatives.

  • Assess customer needs and optimally communicate those needs to internal partners in support of operational and new product development initiatives.

  • Conduct in-depth analyses on market growth/trends and maturity of different product lines to resolve appropriate lifecycle management tactic.

  • Collaborate with customers and global sales teams in the assessment and development of new technologies and line extensions.

  • Lead internal and external trainings on assigned product line(s)

  • Assemble resources and work with others to accomplish and lead projects as they occur in the context of the business needs.

  • Assist in the forecasting and financial planning vital to maintain adequate inventory to serve demand within the global supply chain.

  • Develop concepts, copy, and lead approvals for franchise promotional materials.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree required, preferably with a major in marketing, engineering, or natural sciences

  • 1-2 years of product management experience, medical device industry highly preferred

  • Strong interpersonal skills required in the areas of verbal and written communications, customer focus, integrity, mentoring, and team building

  • Self-starter and inventive in developing crafting solutions

  • Strong questioning and problem-solving skills

  • Validated ability to identify problems and root causes and propose potential solutions and initiate action independently

  • Proficient in the use of a personal computer with intermediate level of keyboarding skills. Proficient in the use of MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint

  • Confirmed ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to optimally present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

  • Ability to travel domestically/internationally up to 30%
