BD Urology and Critical Care a BD Company is seeking to fill the position of Manager, Training and Education-Endourology in Covington, GA. Bard Medical has joined BD in the business of advancing lives and the delivery of healthcare.

The Manager of Training & Education is responsible for training and education within the Endourology platform of Bard Medical. This individual will lead the development of internal and external training and educational programs to increase knowledge and understanding of Endourology and its associated sales process.

The program offered to internal sales and clinical associates is designed to improve sales execution and drive revenue. The Manager of Training and Education identifies best practices in adult learning and knowledge gaps in both internal and external stakeholders, and will be called upon to demonstrate leadership in all aspects of the education delivery related to the product line. The ideal candidate will take a consultative and strategic approach to training, education, professional development and enhancing the customer experience.

The successful Manager is an energetic team player who has the ability to influence and motivated others while building a wide network. This person must have exceptional interpersonal skills and can establish open, collaborative communication channels with colleagues at every level and in every department.

  • Demonstrates expertise in education process development, content creation and adult learning, communication skills, and coaching and management development.

  • Develops tools to include but are not limed to creation of instructor-led, distance learning, video and web based and other formatted curricula and content as needed.

  • Provides solutions for delivering innovative, high-impact educational materials, both live and on-demand (specific training courses, methodology, or delivery methods). For internal (Bard) and external (hospital and clinician) constituents.

  • Responsible for the coordination of all aspects of in-house and field based training for both domestic and international sales personnel and supportive departments.

  • Performs gaps analyses of sales and clinical field selling organization; develops programs to address those needs in tandem with senior sales management and human resources.

  • Equips BD UCC Medical Sales and Clinical Teams with the knowledge and skills set to WIN.

  • Measures effectiveness of training programs through reporting and comprehensive program analysis.

  • Proven ability to develop, launch and track the success of educational tools and programs

  • Proven ability to establish goals, set clear expectations, prioritize activities and follow through with timely execution of cross-functional team environment

  • Proven ability to handle and drive multiple projects, work under deadlines and manage change

  • Detailed project management skills

  • Strong communication, presentation, listening, assessment, questioning and problem solving skills

  • Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills

  • Ability to work independently; manage and direct supportive staff

  • Ability/willingness to travel both domestic and global up to 30%


Demonstrated ability to effectively present information and respond to questions both orally and written to cross-functional stakeholders to include: managers, clients, customers, employees and the general public.


Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, percentages and decimals. A clear orientation to and comfort with data and metrics driven planning is necessary.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or Healthcare Management required. MS or MBA preferred.

  • Proficient in the use of a personal computer and tablet with intermediate level of keyboarding skills, MS Excel, MS Word and PS PowerPoint

  • Five+ (5) years professional training experience, with experience in field sales, field sales training, training management and people management

  • Five (5) to Ten (10) years of successful professional development experience with demonstrated results.
