BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) Marketing Associate in Covington, Georgia

BD Urology and Critical Care (BD UCC) is looking for a talented individual interested in a career in Medical Device Marketing. The Marketing Associate position is a high growth opportunity based in our Covington, GA office. Formerly Bard Medical we have joined Becton-Dickinson together advancing the world of health by improving medical discovery, diagnostics and the delivery of care.

This position is responsible for assisting product management employees in the marketing activities of a single or multiple product lines within the BD UCC portfolio of products and to coordinate those activities with other BD UCC employees. The incumbent is also responsible for assisting product management employees in communicating with and developing the resources necessary to support the division field sales force.

  • Assess customer needs and communicate those needs under the guidance of product management employees.

  • Assist in the implementation of marketing tactics and the development of promotional materials.

  • Assist product management employees in assessment of competitive impacts on the business.

  • Provides support to product management employees in ongoing communication to the field sales force to assess needs and general market trends.

  • Provide support to product management employees in project teams.

  • Provide support to product management employees in the development of yearly business / strategic plans.

  • Assembling resources and working with others to accomplish and manage projects as they occur in the context of the business needs.

  • Proficient in the use of a personal computer with advanced use of MS Excel, MS Word.

  • Strong interpersonal skills required in the areas of verbal and written communications, customer focus, professionalism, coaching, and team building.

  • Strong listening and assessment skills.

  • Strong questioning and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills

  • Daily backorder management tasks, including coordinating priority accounts, releasing orders for constrained codes, providing sales support for product submissions, and communicating daily updates to sales force.

  • Inventory management across all product lines, including daily lot tracking through receiving/quality/sterilization, compiling weekly production reports from suppliers, and global demand monitoring

  • Manage product branding and/or collateral update activities

  • Represent Endourology Franschise on BD UCC website team

  • Complete post-market surveillance marketing activities for Endourology (Kidney Stone Management) products and adjacent product lines.

B.S./B.A. four-year degree required, preferably with a major in Marketing, Engineering, Business , Supply Chain or Natural Sciences.

This position works in a normal office environment. The noise level in the work environment is quiet to moderate. Frequent travel is required.
