Job Description Summary # Job Description Description The US Product Manager for Critical Care plays a crucial role in developing and driving the product portfolio strategy and contributing to the Critical Care business, achieving the desired financial performance through comprehensive and timely market development, portfolio management and execution of key marketing programs. This is a high transparency position managing a market-leading portfolio of Urological disposables and capital equipment. This Product Manager will also assist in regional launch efforts of a new capital equipment product line in the US region and provide post-launch support. Reporting directly to the US Marketing Manager, the Product Manager will work and collaborate with multiple partner groups including Global Marketing, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service and R&D. This role supports BD Critical Care’s US business. The US Product Manager will have a strong commercial aptitude, will contribute to the Annual Strategy Review (ASR) process and have shared responsibility in the development of analytical tools that support the portfolio. The role will also support new product documentation, launch execution, regional initiative deployment, field sales support and post-launch product lifecycle management to support accelerated growth of their assigned product portfolio. Responsibilities + Manage and execute on all aspects of the product lifecycle for the assigned Capital Equipment portfolio + Own the development and deployment of targeted marketing campaigns to support sales objective + Provide accurate product forecasting to demand planning for assigned product portfolio + Build and maintain revenue forecasts within assigned categories for new product launches through product’s lifecycle + Build relationships with keycustomers and leaders + Identify and communicate market trends to management and upstream marketing team + Provide competitive product information and support to the sales team + Interfaces optimally with multi-disciplines, such as R&D, Customer Service, Customer Care, Sales, Medical Services & Support, Quality, Operations and Regulatory + Develop and implement product marketing plans to drive product growth and market penetration - including collateral and promotional material development, value proposition and pricing strategies + Develop and maintain quantitative market knowledge (e.g., market data, market trends, competitor pricing) and qualitative market data (e.g., customer needs, competitor activities, plans, technologies, and applications) + Assist in preparation of divisional Business Plans + Recommend product line modifications, extensions, new products, and product deletions + Develop and support market research activities (Voice of Customer) + Conduct regular customer visits to develop awareness of the key market requirements, identify customers' unmet needs and support the sales organization Qualifications + Minimum of 3 years Product Management experience in Medical Devices + Capital Equipment Marketing and/or Sales experience preferred + Bachelor’s Degree in Biomechanical Engineering, Life Sciences or similar + Master’s or MBA preferred + Downstream Marketing experience preferred + Experience with CRM databases (e.g., SalesForce) + Familiarity with Medical Device Regulatory requirements + Experience leading successful, goal-oriented teams and projects + Strong Data Analysis skills + Excellent communication skills, both written and oral + Strong presentation abilities + Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Database software + Ability to travel 30% of the time Becton, Dickinson and Company is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
