SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the movement of products in and out of the Sterilization facilities. Moves products via a forklift.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Locate inbound trailers

  • Verification of products, lots and quantities and document on location sheet FM0300506

  • Pull pallets per Pick list, provided by kitting personnel

  • The routing of products/pallets to the designated areas

  • Inspection of products for damages

  • Trailer moves via Yard View

  • Control the flow of pallets on the dock

  • May be required to physically re-stack products on another pallet

  • Ensures all assigned duties are safely completed in a timely manner in accordance with department standards and by following department procedures.

  • Maintains an acceptable work area as outlined in GMPs.

  • Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to read and interpret the Kitting documents

  • Ability to work under minimal supervision

  • Experienced in the safe operation of material handling equipment.

  • Licensed to operate material handling equipment

  • Attention to detail

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School education or equivalent preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Good verbal communication skills.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Must have good basic math skills.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written and oral form. Ability to adapt to shifting priorities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • This position works on the warehouse floor.

  • The area is subject to wide temperature swings. It is hot in summer (no AC) and cold in winter (very limited heating).

  • Ability to work at high levels.
