Our site in Drogheda is commencing a major upgrade and refurbishment of all facilities. In addition to this investment, several new lines are being brought into production. This BD facility is the only one globally which manufactures one of our new PosiFlush™ products.
About the role
We are now looking for a group of Temporary PQS Production Operators (6-month Fixed Term Contract) to join our team in Drogheda. You will operate plant and production machinery at an acceptable level of production, quality, safety, and housekeeping under GMP. This role will operate on 4 shifts including nights (2 x 12-hour days followed by 2 x 12-hour nights followed by 4 days off).
Main responsibilities will include:
Monitor and maintain production and quality performance to meet specified standards.
Carry out all duties in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and will record production and testing data in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Participate in initiatives, projects & teams as required including Continuous Improvement, QIP (Quality Improvement Programme), Lean, and 6 Sigma type teams.
All Operators will be fully flexible and mobile. This means that they can and will move across and between different shifts and locations on a site-wide basis as required. This will be based on operational needs, subject to skills and ability.
The successful candidate will have a proven ability and willingness to learn. You will be technically qualified with a min of a Leaving Certificate. You will need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with all levels of colleagues.
You will ideally have knowledge of using IT systems, online self-service portals, training systems, and barcode scanners required. You will be hands-on and have a sense of urgency. Ability to function as part of a team and work on own initiative. The ideal candidate will have a high level of safety awareness.
