Job Description Summary

The person in this role will be responsible for the sales of BD Diagnostic products by direct sales activities, the aim being to grow and develop the sales revenue in the territory. The focus for this person will be in selling diagnostic products ( main part is Bloodculture systems , ID/AST systems ,Prepared plated media and molecular diagnostic solutions ) and Lab automation products ( BD Kiestra ). In the medical microbiology labs , university’s and molecular diagnostic laboratory’s . A combination of Capital equipment and consumable sales.

Account Manager BD Diagnostic systems Belgium

Role:

You are the key responsible for the sales and growth of the BD Diagnostic product. Products such as Blood culture systems, molecular systems and lab automation products. Region is part of Flanders, Wallonia and Luxembourg

Responsibilities:

  • The right person has good insights in the different decision makers and influencers and is not afraid to inquire them.

  • Is able to build a relationship of trust and can invest in a long-term relationship with his/her audience through good business acumen capabilities.

  • Is able to apply a project-based approach in his/her daily activities.

  • Will be working closely with the Benelux organization as well as with the European organization.

  • Is able to build up strong relations with existing customers and develop relations with new customers

  • Responsible for sales budget in his/her territory

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Min. Bachelor degree, ( Microbiology, molecular biology )

  • Experiences with Capital investment products.

  • Experiences with Lab automation solutions.

  • Network and experience in the medical molecular diagnostic market.

  • IT proficiency is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Creative and out-of-the-box-thinking approach.

  • Proficiency in project management: mapping the potential and the decision of the business process and work through all steps of the solution selling approach.

  • You act proactively and are able to build long-term partnerships.

  • Advanced negotiation skills

  • You can work independently as well as in a team.

  • Languages: Fluent in Dutch, English, and French.
