Job Description Summary
Athena 2 is the transformation program for the BD EMEA region encompassing changes in ways of working supported by new IT tools. Athena 2 will alongside the Legal Entity Integration (LEI) project merge the legacy-BD and legacy-Bard entities as well as migrate the current order-to-cash and finance processes and related IT solutions to new ways of working.
The A2 SME Order to Delivery will be a core team member of the Athena 2 – program with a primary focus to secure the program deliverables within the Order-to-Delivery framework for Wave 2.
Contribute to the successful implementation of ATHENA 2 in EMEA, by providing Subject Matter Expertise.
built a coordinated process for efficient and effective sales order capture and processing for customers via different sales channels.
Improve touchless order processing by means of standardized processes and business rules
Align the order types and processes in accordance with the BD Operating Model.
Post-order intake handling of customer sales from posting/creation of the order in SAP S/4, until hand-over to transportation and warehouse
Manage of reservation contracts and large tender orders
Daily backorder management
Drive cultural and process changes related to the transformation.
In detail, you will support:
Unit Testing & Documentation: Understand inbound and outbound documentation processes and how the systems configuration matches these processes in the best possible way. Identify the vital unit test scenario’s and execute the system and role specific user testing.
Integration & User acceptance testing support: Support the test users in their ability to identify & execute the test scripts.
Training: Support the trainers to get them to the envisioned level of knowledge & expertise to drive the trainings for the end-users
Go-Live/Hypercare support: As the go live approaches, you will provide support in the preparation activities. After go-live, you will act as primary point of contact to support the Order Management/Order Fulfillment team.
You are a specialist in Order Management Processes, ideally within EMA Region and have a proven understanding of end-to-end quote-to-cash processes. Others would describe you as someone that builds positive relationships, with strong interpersonal skills. You're very agile with a customer-mindset. Lastly, you are proficient in English.
