Marketing Manager MMS
As Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the strategy to drive the business in the Benelux region, working closely together with the Country Business Leader and the EU Marketing Organization. you will lead the development and implementation of marketing tactics to achieve the sales and gross profit budgets, will work closely together with the Clinical Specialists on all product-technical related activities and will assist with budgeting and forecasting. You will ensure successful execution of innovative and customer centric marketing strategies which deliver tangible differentiation and value creation for the total BD MMS portfolio in the Benelux market. You will report to the Country Business Leader MMS.
Responsibilities :
Market Sensing
Dedicate time and interaction with customers, KOL’s, external parties and key stakeholders to sense and shape the market
Identify macro trends on product, customer and industry level
Analyze and develop insights based on solid customer and product knowledge
Identify need for market research and work with data and other intelligence providers
Communicate with EU Marketing Team (Central Team) to share trends, competition behaviors, changes in environment, feedback from the field, learning from campaigns, as well as customer needs and insights
Business Development
Map business opportunities, develop scenarios to identify and validate opportunities and build successful business cases accordingly
Create and develop KOL network to relay BD’s value proposition
Develop relationship / sponsoring with partners (analyzer companies, associations…) to grow the business
Develop strategy with Country Business Leader to tap into market trends & successfully influence business results
Interact with European Marketing Team as well as global product platforms to validate local strategy, and influence the European and global strategy
Play an active role in all BD cross Business marketing activities to bring total BD solutions to the market
Go to Market – Marketing Collaterals
Define and analyze buying processes, customer journeys, segmentation and targeting to develop relevant market models and optimal go-to-market strategies
Define a competitive and differentiating brand strategy and solutions offering (competitive analysis and profiling, product/solution benefit analysis, solution positioning, pricing)
Create innovative marketing tactics and campaign tapping into the opportunities of multichannel communication, growth marketing and digital excellence with a critical view on return on investment
Accountable for the development and the execution of Benelux marketing plan & budget
Share and exchange best practices with EU Marketing Team
Own the launch excellence of new products lines as well as the product lifecycle management of the existing portfolio
Marketing Management
Define and create metrics to measure success and return on investment of local campaigns and overall marketing efforts
Contribute to financial budgeting, forecasting in close collaboration with local management and other local functions
Be a key member of Benelux marketing team (MMT) composed of colleagues of other businesses, support the various Customer Centricity initiatives, engage in budget and strategic review as well as sales tactics
Liaise with sales teams, clinical specialist, solution managers and other internal stakeholders to optimally define and execute the overall commercial approach
Requirements:
A minimum of 7 years’ experience in marketing, preferably in the healthcare industry or healthcare IT industry
Master degree preferably in marketing, business or related fields, or equal by experience
Fluency in Dutch, French & English, both written and spoken
Experience with omnichannel selling & marketing and a successful track-record of integrating digital excellence in the overall commercial approach
Strong business acumen and experience in building business cases, strategic planning and business review
Experience in marketing complex solutions to technical decision makers by aligning and reinforcing the value of the solution to the customer’s overall business
Marketing minded with strong creative skills and strategic agility
Passion and track record for innovation applying a growth mindset and embracing change
Action oriented with a drive for results and a strong customer focus
Strong conceptual thinker with high developed analytical skills
Strong communication and influencing skills
Highly developed project management skills and able to manage a high degree of complexity with the required sense of urgency
Knowledge of the healthcare market or healthcare IT industry is a plus
Evidence based track record in solution selling and cross functional selling is a plus
