Our vision for Medication Delivery Solutions at BD

As a leading manufacturer and supplier of products that are used daily in healthcare, the Medication Delivery Solutions (MDS) team provide a wide range of products for injection and infusion therapy, regional anesthesia and closed medication management.

About the role

As the MDS Product Lifecycle Operations Lead , you will play a pivotal role in our organization's product life cycle (PLC) management, for the MDS Business Unit cross platforms . Working closely with Product Management Leaders, you will supervise and drive operational activities related to PLC changes, including end-of-life transitions (EOL), alternatives, and new product introductions.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate and liaise between Product Marketing Leads and key functions, including Supply Chain, Regulatory, Customer Care, Finance, and MDS teams at both the country and global levels.

  • Project manage and ensure the timely execution of PLC changes, from assessment to implementation and follow-up.

  • Build project work, vital documentation, and deliverables for validation and compliance traceability.

  • Collaborate with markets across EMEA to implement PLC changes at country and customer levels.

  • Provide timely and effective project communications, including meeting facilitation and status reporting.

  • Identify and lead project risks and issues, ensuring timely mitigation and resolution.

  • Standardize PLC/EOL processes and tools, including PDMT and PEGA tools.

  • Provide training to key partners on process and tools for PLC management.

  • Mentor Project Managers and Project Coordinators in project management best practices.

  • Develop and maintain tracking systems for PLC implementations, including timing, impact, completion, and risk identification.

About you

  • Master's degree in a related field with a proven ability (5+ years of experience) in similar roles within a large global manufacturing company handling medium-sized projects.

  • Experience in the medical technology /life sciences industry is required.

  • Strong understanding of product life cycle management.

  • Outstanding organizational, project planning, scheduling, and risk leadership skills.

  • Critical thinking and analytical skills to drive focus, priorities, and recommendations.

  • Proven track record to collaborate cross-functionally.

  • Previous team leadership experience is a plus.

  • Fluency in English and proficiency in another relevant language.
