Job Description Summary
As regional repair center leader for Europe, you will coordinate the work of our in-house technicians, warehouse operators and administrative associate in the European Instrument Service Center (EISC). The focus of the activities is the repair and reconditioning of medical instruments and parts, as well as the associated logistic operations. You will ensure that the EISC associates excel in their job execution by actively planning, improving the quality of the work performed – while keeping an eye on safety in the workplace – and ensuring adequate training is timely completed and elaborated upon. Frequent contacts with our (internal) suppliers and customers will enable you to provide an excellent customer experience.
You will represent the EISC in larger initiatives within BD and will cooperate with your international colleagues in the global repair centers in US and AsiaPac to exchange information and stay abreast of recent changes in repair procedures. You will be able to suggest continuous improvements based on the regional experience gathered from the work performed.
You will report to the Senior Manager Product Technical Support within the technical service organization. You will be fully empowered to enhance and improve this team’s performance and cohesion towards long term and sustained excellence and will act as a change agent to enable future repair opportunities in the region.
Ideally you will have a technically oriented bachelor or master’s degree, with at least 7 years practical experience within a manufacturing industry and/or handling logistic operations.

Be fluent in Dutch and English
Have a proactive mindset and take initiative in order to get things done
Have experience in working with formal quality systems.
Be IT savvy, preferably having worked with enterprise systems like SAP and / or Salesforce.com / ServiceMax
Be knowledgeable about Lean Six Sigma concepts and project management methodologies
