About the role
As a Supply Chain (SC) EMEA Finance Analyst, you will report to the EMEA SC Business Partner and will support them in the following areas of responsibility.
The postholder will be required to work in the office on a 2-3 days per week basis.
Main responsibilities will include:
Preparation, review, reconciliation and sign off on Financial Processes (Budget, ASR, Projections, Actuals) for the E2E SC cost components (Freight In, Duties, Freight Out, Warehousing, Order Management, SC Planning) assigned to a specific segment.
Monthly bottom-up analysis and reporting of SC financial performance for Europe & EMA for the assigned segments/businesses
Monthly Tracking and calculating the impact of changes on the underlying Cost Drivers and integrating the financial impacts in the ASR / Budget/ Projections.
Creation, review, sharing, discussing of dashboards/reports on performance & cost drivers with colleagues
Consolidation of SC segment dashboards in BDX, EMEA views
Identifying risks and opportunities
Providing financial support and advise to the SC leadership team and businesses to drive key business goals.
Implementation of projects in the financial processes in close collaboration with SC Finance PMO
Accurate classification of the SC cost in the Profit&Losses
Calculating accurate accruals during month-end closing
Identifying efficiencies in processes
Assuring alignment with new worldwide financial processes, policies & systems
Bringing financial eye for business to SC members
Establishing a close partnership with COE (Centre of Excellence) Logistics, COE Planning, COE Order Management, COE Trade Compliance, SC Management, SSC Poland, Local finances, COE Finance, Business, BP&A teams, Procurement, Global Transportation, ….
About you

Bachelor / Master's degree
Demonstrable working experience in Finance (analysis) or Supply chain
Knowledge about Financial Processes (ASR/Budget/Projections/Actuals/…) & Accounting is a valuable asset
Experience in large global multi-segment business is helpful
Knowledge about ERP Systems (SAP ECC, JDE, FSM, BPC, Workday, Buysmart, ...) is a strong asset
Good knowledge of Excel, Access, PowerPoint
Strong interest in Finance and Supply Chain
Knowledge about Integrated Supply Chain is an advantage
Strong Analytical Skills – Ability to analyse and trend data and translate it into information – Go beyond the numbers, determine the root cause of variances, and consider the business/function implications in helping find opportunities and improve performance
Ability to consolidate large amounts of data into reports, scorecards, dashboards, etc which provide insights into trends and highlight areas to focus on improvements
Ability to operate in a matrix environment under pressure with tight schedules and handle multiple tasks
Ability to adapt, learn quickly, eager to investigate
Customer Focus, committed, deliver on results
Ability to work collaboratively, cross-functionally and in a team environment, self-starter
Effective communication skills and ability to communicate well with all levels of management
Strong work ethic
Fluent in English; any other European language will be considered a strong advantage.
