Job Description

Athena 2 Program: Mission & Purpose

The Program is aiming to replace current Legacy ERP & Satellite systems as well as to deliver new solutions to address current and future business needs. It is the transformation of EMEA Quote to Cash (QTC) solutions. In July 2022, the new SAP S4 Hana solution has been implemented for Legacy BARD products including Olen Distribution Center. The objective of Athena 2 wave 2 is to expand the use of the solution to other business units.

About the role

As Data Lead, you will support the ERP business transformation into SAP S4 Hana.

You will work closely with Deloitte Implementation Partners, Business SMEs, IT Business Partner and multi-functional collaborators to ensure Quality and Regulatory relevant Data is reflecting correctly in the ERP system with optimal quality.

Key Responsibilities

You will be the entry point for all Q&R master data and transactional data migration from Legacy systems (e.g LOTS) to SAP S4 Hana target platform. Key responsibilities are:

  • Understand master data scope (e.g Inspection plans) and transactional data scope (e.g Batch master)

  • Collaborate in a multi-functional environment (Functions, Business Units, Plants) to address interdependencies

  • Assist data team in data profiling to run analysis and find opportunities for data cleansing

  • Provide functional inputs during data design to define data extract rules from Legacy system(s) and transformation rules before load into new system(s)

  • Own data load validation (pre-load validation and post load validation)

  • Coordinate data cleansing (work with data owners like Quality SMEs, Regulatory SMEs, BD Manufacturing, External Suppliers)

  • Ensure data migration activities are included into Cutover plan and performed as per defined timeline

  • Participate to design workshops and capture dependencies with data management

  • Report progress on data management activities

  • Identify risks and issues and build mitigation plans when relevant

  • Define lessons learned to handle continuous improvement between data load cycles

Requirements / Skills and Competencies

  • You have a Bachelor or Master Degree

  • You have experience in Quality and Regulatory area or/and ERP implementation

  • You bring good analytical skills and like data

  • You have strong Excel analysis

  • You are action and result-driven with proven execution skills

  • You are a strong team networker, also being able to work independently

  • You are comfortable working in multi-functional environment

  • Proficiency in English both written & oral

  • Experience with SAP (ECC or S4 Hana) is a plus.

Hybrid role with possibility of home office. Travels in Belgium foreseen.
