With our technical capabilities, the Medication Management Solutions (MMS) team are able to manage multiple systems and our operational capabilities enable us to have medications available when and where needed, reducing inefficiency and waste for nursing and pharmacy teams.

WW IPD vision is to enable safe and effective infusion therapy for all, by delivering differentiated products, providing exceptional service, and collaboratively creating and sharing value with our customers. The business platform is accountable for portfolios including Hazardous Drugs Solutions (HDS), IV Access (IVA), Gravity & Syringe Delivery (GSD) and Infusion Systems portfolios and is uniquely positioned at the interface of MDS and MMS business units.

--About the role--

The Marketing Manager acts as a marketing lead, with full accountability for the assigned portfolio. The candidate is expected to drive critical business initiatives, effectively operating withing BD matrixed organization to de‐liver impactful results. This role will be primarily focusing on upstream marketing activities, such as innovation and new product development for our WW IPD Platform.

-Main responsibilities will include:

  • Supports Sr. Marketing Manager in the responsibilities of driving innovation and new product developments for assigned portfolio within WW IPD Platform,

  • Propose and perform appropriate market research and VOC activities for innovation (where relevant, for new product development projects), create need statement, assess value pool/market size, prioritized value drivers and BD right to play/win,

  • May serve as marketing contact with starts up companies for potential external partnership assessment and opportunities to accelerate the innovation velocity.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, analyze market data, VOC insights to identify areas for improvement in our product and service offerings as well as innovation opportunities,

  • Collaborate with the innovation team (R&D, Medical Affairs, etc.) to advance projects in the ideation phase through Gate A, B and C,

  • Propose line extensions and new products to better serve customer segment needs and optimize revenue, growth and profitability targets,

  • Collaborate with the product development team to define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on market feedback and customer needs,

  • Support the Global Product Development System (GPDS) process as a core team member for the assigned project(s). Accountable for completion of respective marketing deliverables to ensure commercial excellence through collaborative efforts with all levels of other functional areas.

  • Lead the product launch efforts, in collaboration with the downstream team and regions. Develop a global marketing launch plan that defines "how to win”, including market development, evidence generation, marketing communications and promotional strategy, content creation, pricing strategies, and customer and sales-facing associate training.

-About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Technical Field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred,

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a marketing, strategy, product management or related field within healthcare, medical device and/or related industry,

  • Experience and understanding of working in large matrix organization,

  • Prior experience with infusion products would be a plus,

  • Fluency in English (additional languages considered as a plus) and high computer literacy (MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.)

  • Up to 20% travel, primarily with Western Europe
