About Pharmaceutical Systems (PS)

With innovative pre-fillable syringes, self-injection systems, safety systems and needle technologies, the PS team offers an extensive selection of solutions designed to protect, package and deliver drug therapies. Billions of products are manufactured by our 5 global factories each year.

About the role

Reporting to the Vice President of Quality Management for PS, you provide leadership to people managers and technical associates at 5 manufacturing plant locations and collaborate with Business partners and PS Quality Leadership team members.

The role sets the strategy for PS Operations and assures alignment of tactics to achieve objectives in line with other partners' objectives and expectations. Through outstanding communication and effective problem prevention/solving, the role ensures product safety and quality throughout the product lifecycle as well as product and process compliance with all relevant global regulations and customer expectations, always putting the customer and patient first.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Participates as an active member of the PS Operations Leadership team representing the PS Quality Leadership Team. Leads directly Quality leaders at PS manufacturing sites, as well internal as external, the PS Supplier Quality Assurance group and the PS Sterilization activities

  • Proactively identify and work through obstacles that may hinder the organization from focusing on and delivering their objectives

  • Actively pursue up-to-date industry knowledge and implement benchmark and best-practice activities that maintain exceptionally high levels of product quality and compliance.

  • Ensure the quality organization is designed and resourced to fulfill its obligations and to align with applicable regulations and procedures.

  • Anticipate and optimally lead through the challenges of change and establish key partner engagement focused on mutually beneficial solutions

  • Continuously evaluate progress toward strategic goals and objectives; insuring they remain relevant

About you

We are looking for a strong Quality Operations leader with a track record of business partnering as well as leading transformation and organizational change in regulated industries such as Medical Devices, Automotive, Aerospace, Pharmaceuticals, etc.

Ideally, you have worked in a plant during your career, understand lean principles and bring a focus on simplification through continuous improvement. A sharp communicator and an ambassador for Quality, you talk the language of Operations leaders and build strong partnerships in a fast-paced, fast-growing environment. In addition, you bring an end-to-end, integrated view of Quality topics and partnerships. A servant leader at heart, you bring a good balance between involving your team in decisions and adapting quickly.

Other attributes include:

  • Familiarity with risk management process and problem-solving methods (CAPA)

  • Proficiency in English

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of your time
