The Labor Performance Analyst works to maximize production efficiency through effective labor management analysis, establishment of engineered labor standards, performance tracking and coaching while maintaining system related logic that directly impacts DC labor performance and staff planning.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • As part of a collaborative team, participate in the ongoing design, configuration and reporting for the new Labor Management System (LMS).

  • Solve Labor Management System issues as needed, identifying gaps in the design, and exploring alternatives to mitigate any gaps and drive the prompt resolution of issues.

  • Identify critical reporting needs to develop in the SCI framework that ensure functionality and drive operational efficiencies while providing visibility to managers not only within the DC, but also to NA Distribution leadership.

  • Serve as a technical resource for DC operations. Provide coaching and training to manager and team members as needed to fully leverage Warehouse management system and Labor Management strategies.

  • Support DC leaders in driving process improvements and cost reductions through staffing and work demand.

  • Partner with Distribution Center management and continuous improvement LEAN teams to identify, implement and support process improvement projects focused on cost reduction and improvements in safety and quality. Create and recommend optimal solutions that meet the needs of senior management or business leaders.

  • Participate in daily management planning meetings andlong termoperational planning.

  • Work in alignment with DC leadership and Finance on LMS system changes, gain share program, and tracking programs financials working with the Finance team.

  • Responsible for maintaining and implementing Engineered Labor Standards for assigned distribution center. Continually monitors and analyzes existing processes to ensure opportunities for improvement are identified and analyzed for return on investment.

  • Provides training throughout DC to all team members, and answer questions.

  • Applies analytic methods and tools to understand, predict, and/or control operations and processes as requested by business owners on an ad-hoc basis.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with distribution operations, with knowledge of warehouse management systems. Familiarity with Manhattan Associates is a plus.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as an integral member of a project team that applied project management standard methodologies.

PROFICIENCES

  • Knowledge of Engineered Labor Standards

  • Knowledge of LMS systems

  • Knowledge of MS Access, MS Excel, MS Project, Visio

  • Practical knowledge in importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts.

  • Ability to partner and influence with a wide variety of leaders

  • Comprehensive end-to-end knowledge of DC processes and operations and the implications of each step of the process on the others

  • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language

  • Excellent listening and social skills.

  • Keen attention to detail.

  • Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required.

  • Self-motivated with ability to optimally prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

  • Strong customer service orientation.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelorsdegree or equivalent work experience.
