The Associate Product Manager will assist in developing and implementing strategic and tactical initiatives to support successful implementation of Project RECODE in the US market. Takes an active role in day-to-day operations to execute communication and problem-solving for customers impacted by product changes and for field-based sales associates. Engage with regional product/marketing management teams across MDS to assist in designing and adapting the project activation plans. Assists as needed with supply chain and allocation activities. Executes other areas of marketing competencies such as business acumen, portfolio management, marketing communications and marketing planning as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Effectively executes Project RECODE plan across MDS portfolio for US region.

  • Works with project manager, analyst, and communications partners to continuously monitor performance and adjust plans as required.

  • Participates in the development and execution of marketing and product strategies to achieve or exceed the business unit objectives.

  • This will include analyzing market and customer information, managing product lifecycles, forecasting, pricing strategies and guidelines, etc.

  • Participates in the development and execution of US marketing plans related to and beyond Project RECODE.

  • Effective Communication and collaboration with sales force, distribution, end-users and customers.

  • Strong collaboration with internal cross-functional teamsAccountable for project funnel management, product line forecasting and Sales and Operations Planning support.

  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.

  • Ensures timely communication to appropriate marketing and sales personnel relating to promotional materials and development of effective sales aids and clinical education support materials.

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a related field.

Qualifications

  • 4+years of relevant marketing experience in medical device industry preferred, but not necessary.

  • Strong knowledge of working in a B2B environment; understanding of healthcare industry; exposure to cross-functional processes / requirements

  • Experience in working with distribution

  • Experience in developing strategy as well as demonstrating success in executing key initiatives is required.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment with very little supervision. Resourcefulness and the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities are keys.

  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally

  • Willing to learn and be a team player

  • Ability to travel up to 25%-30% of the time
