We are actively recruiting a creative, enthusiastic, and agile Early Talent Partner to join the team!
This role is remote in the US.
Key responsibilities will include:
Oversight of the early talent recruitment pipeline and process, in partnership with our Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) partner, for assigned rotational programs and internship roles. Serve as a talent advisor to rotational/internship program leads to build an inclusive outreach and recruitment process ensuring a diverse talent cohort.
Drive entire lifecycle planning of campus programming and initiatives to attract talent and cultivate interest in BD, especially for our rotational development and internship programs, ensuring inclusion and diversity initiatives are embedded into the strategy.
Develop strategic partnerships with target colleges and universities, including consistent engagement with student organizations, faculty, deans and career services to nurture relationships, be a point of contact for top talent students, and establish BD as an employer of choice.
Plan, design and develop best in class in-person and virtual experiences including skill building workshops, classroom speaking opportunities, career panel talks, etc. while maintaining contact with students’ post-event to ensure an excellent candidate experience.
Mobilize the business to drive the right presence and engagement activities at assigned schools and ensure the achievement of hiring goals.
Oversee entire lifecycle of BD’s Summer Internship Program experience (including budget planning, event planning and execution, performance management process, etc.)
Assist in driving the conversion of Summer Interns into full-time roles upon graduation -- early talent program and entry-level roles.
Develop and annually review program curriculums to ensure development of program associates that produces well-rounded Early Talent associates while meeting BD’s organizational needs and priorities.
Offer innovative and creative ideas to continuously improve Early Talent processes.
Maintain and analyze university recruiting metrics; Conduct surveys and collect feedback through post event evaluations.
Support Early Talent team in the management of Yello software and assisting with event coordination, which may include booking of travel, conference rooms, candidate scheduling, catering, and vendor management.
Work on ad-hoc HR initiatives.
About you: To be successful in this role, you require:
3+ years of demonstrated experience in talent acquisition supporting internship, university or early career or related program; previous experience within a large global company preferred.
BA/BS degree in human resources or related field, preferred, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
Demonstrated high degree of initiative, autonomy, and ability to collaborate in a virtual team environment while meeting objectives.
Strong ability to focus, prioritize, and deliver multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced environment, highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adapt quickly to new challenges, projects, and systems/ tools that are used by the team.
Comfortable developing relationships throughout the organization; building networks and ability to liaise with stakeholders at various levels of management, including engaging with senior leaders.
Growth mindset with demonstrated commitment to seeking and receiving feedback and using it as an opportunity to learn and develop oneself.
Ability to collect, analyze and present data.
Experience partnering with a Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) partner, preferred.
Strong technical skills, experience using Workday, Yello, ModernHire, Handshake, Kotis, or WayUp is a plus.
Willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 75% during peak recruiting times.
