About the role

This role is key in supporting all aspects of the supply planning process for Vascular Care platform. This role will mainly focus on planning for all products supported by our US plants and coordinating with our global partners to ensure alignment on demand, production, inventory levels, product launches/discontinuations and other projects.

Main responsibilities will include:

As a member of the team and process-owner, you will be a results-oriented partner to our business colleagues (Sales, Marketing) by following-up very closely on all aspects of the Supply Planning process for your portfolio, including :

  • Tracking our shipments to the regions to ensure each step is done appropriately & in timely manner.

  • Setting up monthly plant Supply consensus with the manufacturing sites as well as participating to the Long Term Planning (LTP) process

  • Validating Monthly volumes changes and raising major variances

  • Sharing the key SC metrics, i.e., back order, inventory turns, FDS, line fill

  • Collaborating closely with the business cross-functional leadership team to understand business strategy and future business needs and translate them into supply needs

  • Work closely with plant to understand capacity resources, LTP and lead product changes and launches.

As Supply Planner supporting vascular care, your main customer will be the US market but you will need to ensure that you are covering Global Needs.

  • Working with the regional demand planner to acquire an understanding of the product demands within the regions

  • Making allocation proposal when in short supply situations and in alignment with the Catheter Care Platform

  • Working with global and regional supply chain teams to achieve an efficient distribution network, and maintain a key coordination point with local warehouse management and transportation functions

  • Providing inventory projections for the respective product ranges considering Global Demand & Production plans.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or related fields.

  • Three to five years’ experience in Supply Planning

  • Experienced in Supply and Inventory Planning, including leading and coordinating supply consensus activities.

  • Experience in project management would be an asset (Set up SIOP, Product Line Moves, Inventory Improvement, CI tools…).

  • APICS certification preferred.

  • Experience with supply & distributions models and understanding of End-to-End Supply Chain

  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills

  • A validated understanding of SAP (APO, SCM DP/SP or other tools)

  • Proficient in collaborating closely with manufacturing and business and balancing efficiency vs. business needs.

  • Analytical skills and a confirmed problem-solver, able to drill-down for root cause analysis and translating findings into business language. Most importantly, you are eager to chip in, open to change and a fast-learner.
