Job Description SummaryDigital Health is a new business unit within Becton Dickinson charged with building innovative new product lines. The goal of Digital Health is to work alongside highly successful business units and bring software into their portfolios. Digital Health is bringing agile software practices into a leading global medical technology company - pushing the boundaries of the industry, the business and the products. The first product in our digital health portfolio is BD Briight, our diabetes management application. BD Briight will be a global product, with its US roll out slated for 2018. The product is operated by the Digital Health team and brought to market on a regional basis in partnership with Diabetes Care.
This position is reporting to the Associate Director, Digital Diabetes as a member of the Digital Health & Diabetes Care Organizations.
The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and authoring global go-to-market playbooks and act as the primary liaison for regional roll-outs of the digital diabetes product line. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of both the opportunities to create value for the legacy Diabetes Care business and identifying new areas of value in the digital eco-system. The incumbent will be evaluated against a series of marketing KPIs including hitting regional launch deadlines, achieving a target install base and assisting in the successful alignment of our marketing messages internally and externally.
Author global go-to-market playbook under the direction of the Digital Diabetes Product Leader.
Partner with regional marketing stakeholders to develop launch timelines, identify tools necessary for success and ensure universal understanding of the product’s value prop.
Communicate and understand the pain points and unmet needs of commercial stakeholders including patients with diabetes, HCPs, care givers and healthcare enterprise organizations.
Manage internal and external vendors to develop marketing materials including – sales collateral, app store optimization description, paid install digital marketing and other marketing assets.
Identify and secure thought and industry leadership opportunities that drive the relevancy of the digital diabetes products in the ecosystem
Work closely with the Product Leader to drive adoption of the digital diabetes products in strategic pilots and market opportunities.
Lead market efforts for exhibitor opportunities at industry conferences in partnership and independently of Diabetes Care.
Own the internal communication operations for the product including monthly announcements, awareness campaigns and other outreach efforts.
Provide input and assist in the development of annual strategic plans as it relates to launch timelines, market pain points and funding needs to hit marketing KPIs.
5 – 7 years of progressive healthcare marketing experience.
Demonstrated excellence in marketing communication, stakeholder alignment and vendor management.
Strategic but creative thinker who understands how to articulate value propositions to a diverse audience.
Entrepreneurial spirit, fast moving with a get stuff done attitude.
