Job Description SummaryThe Sr. Data Analyst - Inventory Management position, reporting to the Sr. Inventory Optimization Manager, will be focused on supporting the advanced analytics for Inventory Optimization team. The primary responsibilities will be leading analytics projects, deploying and leveraging statistical techniques and business methods to Reduce Inventory and Improve Cash Flow, including but not limited to the reduction of under-performing SKUs. This role will be a key member in the Supply Chain organization.
The Inventory Optimization Senior Analyst will drive sophisticated analytics and reporting while communicating to highly matrixed teams to assure success of the overall supply chain management processes and inventory optimization of the BDX portfolio.
- Advanced Analytics and Insights: • Key lead for data analytics for Inventory Optimization team• Support the maintenance of dashboards and reports using Power BI and or Tableau• Support data analysis key metrics for Inventory and Planning teams• Analyze reports and application to business needs• Creation and management of the distribution of standard reports & dashboards on a weekly, monthly & quarterly basis to track appropriate relevant business metrics.• Prepare analysis decks for business reviews with senior management and stakeholder• Responsible for data aggregation, manipulation and reporting• Responsible for Data quality control and management/validation, analyze various forms of data (e.g. raw data, base data, and metrics), provide reports and interpret results.• Miscellaneous and/or ad-hoc projects, analysis or administrative duties as assigned
Bachelor's degree required. Degree study preferred in SCM, mathematics, logistics, engineering, Data Science.
Must have at least 3 years of experience in advanced analytical role, consulting engagement etc.
Strong knowledge/Experience in analytic and quantitative modeling
SQL & knowledge of ERP systems required.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Demonstrated professional strengths in emotional intelligence, communication, leadership, collaboration, partnering, global thinking, strategic are required.
Strong organizational skills, Superior data analysis and statistical skills are required
Demonstrated ability to work independently

Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Master of Science and/or MBA.
Six Sigma Green Belt and Lean Certification.
Project management and matrix management.
SAP and Llamasoft experience.
Nice to have knowledge of Coding languages Python and R
