Job Description SummaryThe Supply Chain Business Systems Manager is a highly visible position, reporting to the Associate Director of Inventory Optimization, will be focused on supporting the development and implementation into production of a Supply Chain optimization solutions (Llamasoft/SC Guru) across BDX Supply Chain planning organization. The role will effectively collaborate with internal and external business partners such as Business Units Supply chain and IT organizations to lead project management activities.

This position is critical to business wide Supply chain planning organizations to support Inventory optimization ambitious objectives across BU with two main focus:

1)Finalize BU SC modeling activities with inventory optimization tool (Llamasoft/ SC Guru).

2)Develop a sustainable strategy allowing process automation and direct end user interface with the inventory optimization tool (Llamasoft / SC Guru)

The Supply Chain Business Systems Manager role requires the ability to interact with a diverse and highly talented team of contributors. The role involves a client service mindset, the ability to execute both tactical and strategic activities and the delivery of innovative and creative inventory optimization solutions.

This role will identify process improvement opportunities, develop detailed options and lead effective implementations by applying a disciplined, logical and comprehensive approach to problem solving. It will also provide direction to Supply Chain Management in order to effectively propose and collaborate on developing opportunities.

This position is responsible for managing the development, communication, and training associated with the usage of the MEIO initiative with supply chain groups. Working closely with the business units, define optimal SC models and gain consensus. Apply data based analysis to assist the business in improving inventory.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver supply chain strategies using Llamasoft, or similar software

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable MEIO models.

  • Identify and manage risks that impact project scope, timing or cost.

  • Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements to existing systems and platforms.

  • Fully document modeling processes, data sources, transformations, assumptions and constraints

  • Provide creative and structured analysis to identify Inventory performance improvement opportunities

  • Manage, review and validate large datasets to build and validate supply chain models and run inventory optimization scenarios

  • Develop effective presentations to promote analysis results

  • Develop and implement process automation strategy through an integration to the company Data Lake project.

  • Manage relationship with Software supplier (Llamasoft).

  • Miscellaneous and/or ad-hoc projects, analysis or administrative duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree Data Science, Supply Chain, Engineering.

  • Must have at least 5 years of experience in advanced project management role or consulting engagement.

  • Experience in supply chain planning and network design

  • Familiarity with supply chain concepts including planning, forecasting, transportation, distribution and inventory management. Understand key supply chain performance levers and strategies to improve these metrics.

  • SQL & knowledge of ERP systems required. SAP knowledge preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills. Demonstrated professional strengths in emotional intelligence, communication, leadership, collaboration, partnering, global strategic thinking, are required.

  • Ability to leverage power of influence without direct control across all functions and levels in the organization. Effectively manage and work with virtual teams.

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently

  • Strong problem-solving capability.

  • Demonstrated success delivering results on time. A bias for action

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Six Sigma Green Belt and Lean Certification.

  • Project management and matrix management.

  • SAP and Llamasoft experience.

  • Nice to have knowledge of Coding languages Python and R
