As a Test lead

• The Test Lead role is responsible for the test effort's success that will expand from Functional User Test, Integration Test, User Acceptance test and Regression Test phases. The role involves quality and test advocacy, resource planning and management, and resolution of issues that impede the test effort.

• As a Test Lead, promote for quality throughout the testing process. This involves ensuring that testing aligns with project goals and deliverables.

• You communicate testing practices to project stakeholders, educating them on best practices and expectations.

• Managing personnel, tools, and infrastructure ensures a smooth testing process.

• Identifying and resolving defects promptly is crucial. You play a key role in addressing issues that impact the test effort.

• Triage calls with technical and business teams help maintain clear communication.

• Developing QA metrics allows you to track test execution status and defect trends.

• Regularly assessing progress ensures timely adjustments if needed.

• You strive for an appropriate level of quality by addressing important defects.

• Balancing thoroughness with efficiency is essential.

• Summarizing test cycles and validating results are critical for project transparency.

• Working closely with the validation team ensures accurate reporting.

• Developing an automation testing repository streamlines regression testing.

• Driving performance testing helps assess system scalability and responsiveness.

As a Release Lead

The Release lead is responsible to plan, track and deploy the production releases, release lead is engaged from the beginning of the change lifecycle (new demand) till the tracking of the development, managing the scope locks windows, ensuring changes are ready in time for testing, and executing the cutover and deployment of the release across the enterprise for multiple applications across various portfolios. In BD we have major release (annual), quarter releases, and expedite changes all under release management principles

• Bachelors degree required

• Engage from the start of the change lifecycle (new demand).

• Collaborate with the application development team to define the scope of each release.

• Monitor the progress and health of each release.

• Generate comprehensive reports.

• Escalate risks when identified.

• Ensure changes are ready for testing and deployment.

• Accommodate regression testing in the release process.

• Manage both regular application maintenance operations (AMO) and project initiatives.
