As a Sales Representative you will be responsible to Maintain and Develop sales within the given territory with a view of becoming the top tier suppliers of Hernia Systems and Oncology access devices.
This position you will be responsible for all Johannesburg and East Rand territory for both private and public customers.
Other Key Responsibilities:-
To grow and develop new business thereby building up a proven customer base, to ensure the budgeted sales are achieved, by continuously developing and updating client strategies.
To assist where and when required, in the promotion of BDI/ Bard products through organized exhibitions and meetings to demonstrate the benefits of various products to clients.
To arrange that strategic surgeons attend promotional meetings and to facilitate the follow up of these surgeons to ensure optimal benefit is achieved from any given meeting both Face to Face and Virtual.
Submission of planners and reports on a weekly basis to the direct line manager by means of SFDC.
Creates plans to achieve targets. Sees objectives through to the end and delivers against plans. Delivers on commitments.
Operates with integrity, openness, honesty and ethics to build long term relationships with customers (internal or external). Positive demeanor and a team player.
Listens to customers (internal and external) to find out their needs and objections. Great team player abilities to assist colleagues in the best interest of the company.
Passion to win, is a self starter and has a sense of urgency to achieve results whilst maintaining high quality of work. Competitive and works hard to exceed targets using innovative solutions to challenges. Persistent even after setbacks and learns from mistakes
Attain budgeted monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
Sales Force (SFDC) CRM usage to manage territory
Responsible use of Company Car and company assets to Advance the World of Health
The ideal candidate should come from a nursing or medical / clinical background
Preferably relevant Degree
Excellent relationships in the territory and ability to build and strengthen relationships
Confident in communicating and representing themselves and BD
At least 3 years of sales experience in the Medical Devices Field
