A new and exciting opportunity for the position Sales Manager, Peripheral Interventions (PI), Nordics has arisen.

Reporting to the Country Business Leader, BD Interventional, Nordics, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing Nordic employees within the team and sales and budget responsibility for products within the sales division, PI, including Biopsy Systems, Peripheral Interventions and Impra.

The role covers all Nordic countries and is field based with required business travel to cover the whole district as well as when attending Nordic sales meetings and congresses.

The role will play a key part in developing the sales growth of BDI Nordic and to maintain a professional team. The PI team has employees in Norway, Finland, Sweden and Denmark. For this role, it is important to have an understanding for all Nordic cultural differences in each country, in addition you should at least speak one Nordic language on a fluent level.

As a Nordic Sales Manager you will be accountable for optimization of profitability, sales/market share and revenue growth in short and long term. In addition, you will also have the full responsibility for P & L, sales forecasting/BVR.

In this position the successful candidate will be providing effective people management and leadership in sales ; you will manage and coach a sales team and be responsible for performance management, coaching and providing sales training.

Products falling under this division are biopsy, stents, PTA catheters and grafts. As a Nordic Sales Manager, your additional duties will also include:

  • Responsibility for pricing and contract/tender management

  • Developing and presenting strategic and operational business plans, build on business analyzes

  • Product forecasting to Olen

  • Relationships with stakeholders and KOL

  • Responsibility for effective sales meetings in line with the strategic plan

  • Responsibility for budget and planning of activities in target areas (exhibitions, workshops….)

  • Responsibility for dealers as important customers

  • Monthly reporting to Nordic Management Team and European Marketing

The ideal candidate will likely have a University degree ideally in a medical discipline, and will have a proven track record of working in a hospital environment, preferably within medical devices sales. Previous experiences within the field of Radiology, Vasular Surgery and/or Peripheral Intervention space are advantageous. Previous experiences as a certified nurse are also an advantage.

For this role, we are looking for a sales champion with the hunger and drive to go the extra mile as well as hit and exceed set goals and targets.

We are looking for a candidate, who will be able to demonstrate leadership, project management and business management skills. You should have an advanced business acumen with ability to plan, analyze and forecast sales results.

You should have excellent communication skills and the ability to build long lasting relationships; you should also have the drive and passion to lead a team and exceed set sales targets.

The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills and be a critical thinker. For this role you should speak fluent English and at least one Scandinavian language.
