Job Summary

Responsible for the review of Device History Records (DHRs) for each lot/batch of product produced to assure a complete and accurate record of all data required by the quality system regulations, ISO standards and company policies. Must be able to comprehend inspection requirements and tolerances according to approved quality system documents and to generate and maintain adequate inspection records according to regulatory (QSR/ISO/company) requirements. Successful performance requires close work with quality management and manufacturing to identify, block and resolve discrepant material/process issues according to applicable quality system documents. Assures DHR release and feedback are provided in a timely manner as requested. Occasionally, may be called upon to train associates or to fulfill quality project work.

Essential functions include but are not limited to:

  • Review all records (forms) that make up the product DHRs and verify the entries on the forms meet the requirements.

  • Maintain and track quality metrics from the review of the DHR.

  • Responsible for release of DHR in SAP.

  • Perform device history record acceptance activities according to approved quality system documentation.

  • Generate and maintain adequate inspection records according to regulatory (QSR/ISO/company) requirements.

  • Provide key support to quality and manufacturing by assuring product release and feedback are provided in a timely manner.

  • Maintain quality system documentation for areas of responsibility.

  • Maintain orderly and detailed inspection records.

  • Project support as directed by quality department personnel.

  • Prepare reports on projects and activities as required.

  • Assist in correcting or preventing problems identified due to audits.

  • Documentation, graphing and reporting on DHR review results.

  • Work with minimal supervision.

Educational Requirement:

  • High School Diploma or GED
