BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) Training Administrator in Holdrege, Nebraska

Job Description Summary

As directed by the Training Coordinator, the Training Administrator is accountable for providing and supporting the training program for Holdrege. This person will handle all administrative aspects of training execution, documentation, and certification except for the on-the-job technical training. This position will work with Training Specialists, shift leaders and department managers in support of training plan development and review. The Training Administrator shall provide plant metrics related to training and support in compliance audits.

Duties and Responsibilities

Essential functions include but are not limited to:

  • Orientation training –responsible for scheduling, organizing, preparing, and delivering, as applicable, training to onboard new employees, temporary employees, and/or position changes/transfers. This also includes the CUP role training requirements and tracking for SAP user access.

  • Training Database (C2C) – responsible for maintaining training completion entries in C2C and assigning curricula per the Job Position Change Report. This also includes managing SAP document release updates in the C2C system for new documents and annual retraining requirements.

  • Administrative duties – responsible for scanning and verifying training records to electronic training files and assisting with training documentation updates as needed.

  • ECRO – responsible for collaboration with ECRO owners regarding training level determination, tracking training completion, and authorizing procedure release associated with training requirements.

  • Recognition Program – responsible for token distribution to managers, stocking of recognition items, tracking inventory, and redeeming tokens.

  • Scheduling - responsible to schedule training sessions as requested for learning items such as ECRO changes, advanced laser safety, authorized LOTO, machine guarding, etc.

  • Metrics & Regulatory Compliance – responsible for reporting all training metrics required by management, serving as an SME for the training program during audits, communication with department leadership on training status and complying with BD procedures.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • Associates degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrate excellent people skills and presentation

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word required.

  • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint required.

  • Limited knowledge of applicable regulatory, corporate, and/or unit requirements.

  • No direct supervision of others
