Responsibilities:

  • Performs physical and/or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment.

  • Checks goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. \

  • Responsible for cycle counting activities.

  • Packages and prepares products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges.

  • Must have forklift certification.

  • Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.

  • Reviews customer orders, examines, stocks and distributes merchandise, products and materials in inventory warehouses, distribution centers or manufacturing lines.

  • Oversees domestic and non-domestic receiving and shipping responsibilities.

  • Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves complex issues associated with material/warehouse operations.

  • Performs administrative and physical tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, staging and supplying materials (raw, work-in-process and finished goods), parts and supplies, to operators, workstations and distribution center

  • May prepare goods for shipment to the distribution center

  • Complete all necessary SAP Training to obtain the necessary profiles

  • May be responsible for ordering required materials from outside vendors and offload all deliveries from outside vendors and do goods receipts for the deliveries

  • Physically locate the materials in the warehouse and then perform transactions in SAP to locate them in the system

  • Do bin to bin transfers for all moves from the warehouse to the PSA’s

  • Hand load carts/racks equipment and deliver to production areas

  • Run Material Staging in SAP

  • Evaluate all production schedules and determine materials needed from outside vendors

  • Maintain required levels of materials in the various PSA’s

  • Is knowledgeable of receiving and/or distribution functions, familiar with computer warehousing system and may be required to use UPS systems

  • May be responsible for conducting cycle counts to maintain accurate inventories

  • Uses independent judgment in troubleshooting and problem solving under little/no supervision

  • Provides support to lead and/or supervisor when necessary

  • May provide training support for on-boarding and/or new procedures

  • May provide support on special projects

  • Demonstrates the ability to follow established procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

  • Must follow all BD housekeeping policies and procedures

  • Must follow all BD safety policies and procedures

  • Must be able to work overtime as required to meet BD business requirements

  • Perform other duties as required

  • 3rd Shift: 10pm - 6am

Minimum Requirement:

  • High School Diploma or GED
