Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The First Shift Warehouse Operator is responsible for the receipt and storage of materials, inventory control of raw material and finished goods and the outgoing shipment of materials, finished goods and general documentation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES

1. Receive all raw materials & MRO items

2. Prepare all the receiving documentation

3. Storage of raw materials & MRO items

4. Dispatch materials to the Production areas as required

5. Prepare all the shipping documentation

6. Dispatch materials and finished goods as per shipment requirements

7. Coordinate with the contract sterilizer movement/processing of products

8. Coordinate carrier pick-ups and outbound freight activities

9. Load and unload of containers

10. Ensure proper SAP utilization and completed all associated transactions

11. Ensure proper archiving of the receiving, shipping and material requisition documentation

12. Perform physical inventory goods movements, cycle counts and inventory adjustment as needed

13. Ensure compliance with ISO 13485:2003, QSR and Regulatory Compliance.

14. Ensure safety compliance practices

15. Responsible for safe and organized warehouse operation/warehouse housekeeping

16. Other warehouse general duties as required by the supervisor

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

1. Trained to operate lift trucks and/or equivalent equipment (but not limit to electric stair as needed) and weights measurement equipment

2. Good communication skills as well as good mathematics skills

3. Knowledge on computer systems and SAP application system

4. Bilingual (Spanish & English)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School graduate with some college or equivalent experience.

  • Two to four years related warehouse experience.

  • One year experience working in a Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical Environment
