Job Description Summary

We are looking for a Marketing Manager Biosurgery EMEA (m/f/d) to support our Marketing Team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Develop, lead and execute marketing plans for assigned markets to continue to grow the Biosurgery portfolio and ensure the achievement of financial/budget expectations. These plans include both market shaping and share acquisition strategies and activities.

Accountable for achievement of unit and revenue budget for the Biosurgery in EU, within the BDI Surgery Business Unit.

Lead the successful development and flawless implementation of new product launches and related commercialization plans, strategies and activities. Direction provided has a direct impact on the achievement of the region revenue results.

Develop deep insights through research and analytics to understand drivers of demand and inform marketing and product development decision-making, plans, activities and the organization.

Work in direct collaboration with Business Unit associates (including marketing, professional education, medical affairs), Country Sales / Products Managers, Global Biosurgery Platform and Supply Chain. Represent EU in the global Biosurgery platform team. Ensure alignment accross all stakeholders listed before and the Field sales force.

Work closely with KOLs and surgeons and develop advocacy.

Develop and manage marketing communications plans, activities, events and agencies according to brand strategies and goals and guiding the execution by the Marketing Communications team. Develop a digital marketing plan together with Marcom COE to optimize BDI digital presence in the Biosurgery space.

Encourage innovation, and ensure consistency in brand and company marketing communications.

Champion communications and activities around competitive intelligence and promotion of understanding of competitive tactics.

Optimize GP % within the biosurgery portfolio.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA, medical or scientific graduate degree preferred

  • Proven record of success in Sales/ Marketing/ Product Management in the Healthcare environment

  • Market knowledge: understanding of the major European healthcare systems to include payers, procurement and clinical decision making in both private and public sectors

  • Experience in delivering multi country product launches & conversion strategies is preferred

  • Customer centric & analytical. Able to clearly identify customer needs and requirements

  • Demonstrated success in translating business needs into product and product portfolio strategies

  • Strong & effective communication and analytical skills, with strong technical marketing acumen

  • High degree of dependability: take ownership of tasks and get things done

  • Mental agility

  • Dealing with ambiguity & change

  • Demonstrated ability to work well with teams

  • Ability to influence without authority, using relationships and networks within the BD matrix to influence strategies within the region and at a global level

  • Fluent in English. Additional languages are considered as an advantage

  • Understanding of market dynamics and customer needs

  • Ability to demonstrate the principles of marketing

  • Modelling and forecasting

  • Ability to work in a complex matrix organization - across business and functions

  • Field communication – supporting the sales team and attending customer meetings

  • Successful candidate must be willing to travel to support region on a frequent basis – approximately 60% of time travelling
