Job Description

As a technical project manager you will lead the end-to-end process of developing our BD Rowa technology portfolio with high emphasis on the design transfer to suppliers. Working with our engineers, procurement, and quality teams you will govern the process of design specification, supplier selection and procurement and manufacturing ramp up. The detailed responsibilities are:

  • Analyze, plan, and develop requirements and deliverables in reference to scheduled projects

  • Ability to read technical drawings and specification and check for accuracy and completeness

  • Assign and oversee the tasks of personnel while ensuring all team members are focused on achieving the project and business objectives

  • Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects

  • Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for team members

  • Summarize and address all project and business risks as part of the initiative

  • Report initiative progress and risks to senior management

Skills and qualification:

  • Passion for healthcare automation

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar technical field

  • Professional Project Management or Scrum master certification preferred

  • Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies and methods

  • Knowledge in the usage of CAD and PDM systems (Solid Works preferrred)

  • Experience mentoring, coaching, and developing rising talent in the technology department

  • Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising department teams

  • Experience working in an agile, high-level collaborative environment

  • Managerial experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
