Job Description Summary

The Associate Manager will be accountable for the analysis of end-to-end (E2E) Quality business processes performance and its related cross-process integrations. Using Continuous Improvement (CI) methodologies and advanced statistical tools, the incumbent is responsible for partnering with Business, Regional, Functional and Technical stakeholders to analyse, design, deliver, sustain and continuously improve the E2E Quality processes and system solutions.

Collaborating with Quality & other cross-functional teams to drive efficiency in Quality processes through harmonization of business practices and standardization of processes and tools. The position is also a key enabler of continuous improvement activities in current business processes that will improve resource utilization and organizational flexibility.

The incumbent is responsible to ensure appropriate metrics are defined, measured and analyzed for continuous improvement opportunity and Quality performance. Additionally, the incumbent will provide quantitative & qualitative analysis and insights relevant to the Greater Asia Quality Leadership Team (GA QLT); comfortable working on independent analytics projects and also be able to work with specialist experts on larger, more complex initiatives.

The individual must be able to work with our internal customers to take projects from project definition, initiation through project close out. This includes: establishing and controlling scope, creating and managing project schedules, generate scorecards that show progress against plan, plan and control project budgets, create and present management reports, communication planning and execution, project integration management, time management, issue/risk management, project quality management, etc.

Job Description

  • Lead and drive project team on CI program.

  • Apply continuous improvement methods such as lean manufacturing to enhance safety, product quality, reliability or cost-effectiveness.

  • Develop improvement programs to evaluate processes & systems to enhance Quality processes focusing on process standardization & enhancing customer experience.

  • Conduct time-studies in the Regional Complaint Centre (RCC) in order identify constraints and balance line to remove bottleneck.

  • Develop or improve methods for value stream mapping / RCC capacity analysis, in order to identify and predict capacity constraints ahead of time.

  • Use lean and/or statistical tools/methods in a structured approach for data analysis in order to identify improvement potential.

  • Manage cross-functional projects independently and coordinate the implementation.

  • Analyze technology, resource needs to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.

  • Provide technical expertise or support related to data/statistical analysis.

  • Provide training on lean/statistical tools to support continuous improvement program.

  • Prepare management reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information, trends and statistical data, pitching to executive leadership level.

  • Executes any tasks and/or projects as assigned by the Associate Quality Manager, Project Management, Greater Asia.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt

  • ISO 9000, ISO 13485 or US FDA QSR

  • Deep process knowledge in one or more domains in an organisation
