Job Description Summary

Within the Pont-de-Claix site (38), you will join the end-to-end Supply Chain department of the BD Medical Pharmaceutical System. This branch of Operations is specialized in project management, in relation with component / subassembly suppliers: delivery performance, capacity optimization, compliance with the normative requirements of the pharmaceutical sector, assurance of continuity of delivery, collaborative projects with suppliers (external/internal) for continuous improvement. You will also work very closely with procurement department.

Job Description

  • Supply Chain / Procurement: Supplier Risk management

  • Work on Value Stream Mapping (end to end supply flows overview)

  • Monitoring of safety stocks on critical components of the Business Units Plants and related communication (including check of supplier's safety stocks)

  • Update Corporate Supply Risk Base

  • Continuous Improvement activities

  • Analyze business main spend areas (including supply flows) and identify cost reduction opportunities

  • Prepare business case of the opportunities (supply flows and cost reduction)

  • Support opportunities projects implementation on ad hoc basis in collaboration with Supply Chain/Operations, Finance and Supplier Quality

  • Implement and Monitor projects identified in the Risk mitigation plan per categories in coordination with Local Supply Chain (France, UK, Mexico, US, Hungary) and Procurement teams

  • Prepare quarterly Risk updates presentations to Leadership Team

  • Support implantation of consolidated supplier's activities scorecard

Your Profil :

Education : Engineer/Business School, Master

Aptitudes :

  • Experience in project and program management

  • Knowledge of tools and methods of continuous improvement (Lean, 6sigma, Investigation & problem solving)

  • Ability to influence internally and externally (indirect management)

  • Initiative and Leadership

  • Good understanding of end-to-end supply chain activities and associated processes (internally and at suppliers).

  • Good analytical and synthetic skills

  • Ability to assess the relevance of data

  • Excellent communication in multi-cultural, multi-functional environment

  • Fluent English (Spanish is a plus)

  • Common practice of office tools (Excel, PowerPoint ...)

One or two years of apprenticeship starting in September 2021.
