Job Description Summary

Manager for the development and implementation of high-performance processes. Introduces equipment, technologies and methods in the Manufacturing sector, leading to continuous improvement of industrial performance or providing support for the industrialization of new products.

Job Description

Your tasks:

Is involved in global standardization of Processes and Practices. Performs process analyses to reveal opportunities for introducing new technologies, to support the continuous improvement of industrial performance. Provides support for BDM-PS sites in their continuous improvement initiatives.

Manages moderately large technical projects with scope which is not always well defined. These projects may be relative to Capacity or Improvement or Industrialization or Innovation, depending on the group to which it belongs. In this context, he must lead and bring together a project team.

Optimises project investment costs under his responsibility. Performs appropriate financial analyses.

For projects which are under his responsibility:

  • Prints PIRs, manages the interface with the approvals committee or Portfolio manager

  • Pilots projects according to the applicable process

  • Guarantees that indicators are respected

  • Is permanently in charge of ensuring that Sponsor / Customer input is taken into account

  • Defines and suggests the best Technologies and Methods to use

  • Functionally pilots the resources dedicated to the project

  • Communicates throughout with the factory workshops

  • Keeps the project team focusing on the results to be achieved

  • Is responsible for writing all the Project documents

  • Is in charge of knowledge transfer to Manufacturing, manages a training plan

Applies BD project management tools and processes autonomously, within the context of his projects. Organises and chairs meetings, the aim of which is to define a reasonable and robust system of task management.

Possesses and keeps up to date knowledge of leading edge technologies which could be applied to our process. Performs internal and external benchmarks to define the best process to be implemented for each project.

Compiles his knowledge in documentation which is available to the other members of the WW engineering group.

Regularly informs the different departments concerned on the important projects assigned to him. Takes charge of validating FAT and SAT, writing and circulating the Protocol and the Report.

May participate in R&D project Core-teams as a Team member in moderate or large projects.

Is involved in harmonizing Worldwide processes and projects. Ensures that his actions are coherent with current programmes, for each of his projects.

For supervisory positions:

  • Manages team activity: load planning, project distribution

  • Anticipates medium / long-term team activity, simulates the impact of changes in priority or major events on a project

  • Sets up conditions promoting motivation and commitment

  • Sets up backups or rotations for critical skills

  • Promotes team cohesion

  • Pilots the permanent improvement of efficiency in his team

  • Encourages individual and joint recognition

  • Helps his colleagues' development

Your profile

Technical degree : Master / Bachelor or equivalent.

You have a 5 years experience in a similar job :

Project Management in international companies with high- speed production : cosmetics; food processing; pharmaceuticals...

Fluent in English, Spanish language would be a plus.

Travels : international (20%), around 2 or 3 /quarter.
