The Supplier Quality Account Leader in Rubber is accountable and responsible of the conformance to applicable quality specification of components, products, materials or services delivered by assigned suppliers. Global Quality performance and continuous improvement of assigned suppliers.

Support the selection decision process of identified prospective suppliers
Ensures that all BD requirements are understood and addressed at the supplier. Mainly but not restrictively after Supplier Approved state
Problem Solving related to Customer complaints or plant deviation management. In routine mode and in escalation / crisis mode related to a major Customer escalation or a potential disruption to manufacturing or an evidenced customer supply issue
Lead or Participate in Supplier routine quality audits
Negotiate Quality Agreements based on standard template. Ensure that committed agreements are aligned with BD strategy
Review & approve 8D reports prepared by WW Supplier Deviation & Complaint Specialist related to outsourced operations (HAWA manufacturing or service) from assigned suppliers
Manage the Supplier Quality performance monitoring based on set of agreed KPI's and targets
Lead or assist in supplier development & Continuous improvement projects. Coach, teach, and support current suppliers in all areas as needed
Be knowledgeable of supplier quality related activities
For specific operation implemented at the supplier, validate the protocol and ensure the correct implementation
In some limited and exceptional cases the SQ-AL may also act as product family expert or referent within BD
The SQ-AL represents BD at the Supplier, and represents the Supplier at BD, for all quality aspects
Who are you?
You have at least a Master of Science in Quality Assurance or Master of Science in Materials Science with 3 years of experience in a quality organization dealing with suppliers, customers or operation quality.
Experience gained within high cadence/volume industry environment (automotive, …)
Analytical - Synthesizes complex or diverse information Judgment and decision-making skills supported by sound technical & business justification
Demonstrated ability to discuss both technical and business issues with all levels of management within BD & Suppliers
Experience bringing diverse Subject Matter Experts together to resolve technical issues and perform root cause analysis
Proficient in the use of Quality Tools, including Problem Solving (8D)
Fluent in English and French is required
This role will require 20% travel internationally
