Job Description Summary

Determines and evaluates the process sterilization required to achieve departmental and business objectives. Through outstanding communication; effective problem solving and active management of ambiguous situations; the Sterility Assurance CI Program Leader applies their experience to improve and optimize processes and products flows. Success is measured in terms of lead time reduction, cost savings and effective change management through applied skills and lean management. Through stakeholder engagement; and peer development; the Sterility Assurance CI Program Leader produces durable and industry leading results supporting key business drivers.

Job Description


  • Support to OPEX Sterilization COE and Synergy program to obtain and sustain the expected savings.

  • Enable and optimize sterilization network capacity, product and process flows by using help decision tool.

  • Develop the organization as problem solvers (improvement / routine), by training / coaching / communicating and leading by example.

  • Support the definition of the priorities / targets and the master-plan associated.

  • Identify customer needs (internal and external), provides associated solutions and support plant’s implementation.

  • Ensure a Continuous Improvement-preventive mind-set / inspire the culture.

  • Develop-implement and sustain Continuous Improvement training / skills.

  • Continuously evaluate departments / plants / business progress toward tactical goals and objectives adapting them to meet customer and business needs.

  • Ensure CI corrective / preventive actions regarding the master-plan.

  • Contribute the CI standardization/harmonization.

  • Engage with quality and IT networks to effectively promote and drive sterilization goals aligned to the company’s mission and vision.

  • Proactively identify and work through obstacles that may hinder the delivery of individual impact goals.

  • Effectively navigate and lead through the challenges of change and establish key stakeholder engagement focused on win-win solutions.

  • Pursue and actively manage key stakeholder relationships that support the broader strategy that are impacted by department / plant / business goals.

  • Develop and implement best quality practices.

  • Maintain positive and cooperative communication and collaboration with all levels of employees, customer, contractors and vendors.

  • Pursue and maintain Subject Matter Expertise of industry trends.

  • Identify any issues that may delay project and recommends appropriate action to be taken.
