We are currently recruiting an experienced Supplier PMO to join our Worldwide Supply Chain department in Le Pont de Claix (Grenoble).

Within BDM-Pharmaceutical Systems « Global Supply Chain (WW SC) » department, you are in charge to coordinate the activity across functions to setup, increase and maintain the capacity and capability of our suppliers to deliver against BD customer supply-chain and quality requirements.

You work in a transversal and multicultural environment, in relation with following BDM-Pharmaceutical Systems departments. Our suppliers are mainly located in the same regions than our manufacturing sites.

Job Description

You work in a transversal and multicultural environment, in relation with following BDM-Pharmaceutical Systems departments. Our suppliers are mainly located in the same regions than our manufacturing sites.

As a Supplier PMO you are accountable and responsible to:

  • Lead and Coordinate the activity across functions to set up and maintain the capacity and capability of a portfolio of suppliers to timely deliver parts and/or sub assembly in line with flexibility and quality requirements.

  • Participate to new suppliers selection process.

  • Maintain the supply performance and continuous improvement of assigned suppliers.

  • Identify multiyear equipment program covering all aspects of asset management to reach customer demand : replacement, capacity increase, site transfer, in relation with « Procurement » et « Global Planning », ensure information is readily available for discussions at Supplier QBR planned by Procurement

  • Execute multiyear equipment program , in relation with « Global Planning »,

  • Contribute to annual risk evaluation for outsourced processes and raw material/component/subassemblies supplies, and propose remediation program for critical/high risks, in relation with « Procurement » and BD Risk Management Program,

  • Pilot crisis escalation process and resolution in accordance with defined RACI and escalation process when probable causes involve outsourced manufacturing processes, in relation with « Procurement », « SQA », « R&D » and « PQE » departments.

The Supplier PMO represents BD at the Supplier and represents the Supplier at BD, for all supply-chain aspects.

Depending on activity level, you may also coordinate directly some programs.

Who are you?

  • Position requires a sound Supply Chain and PMO background . Lean technical/Engineering as a must. Master of Science in Engineering.

  • Minimum 5/7 years in operations organization dealing with suppliers, customers or operation supply chain performance.

  • Experience gained within medtech environment or high technology industry environment (automotive, …).

  • Lean and continuous improvement environnement.

  • Lead Auditor qualification preferred.

  • Green or Black belt certification.

  • Result oriented, fact based.

  • Fluent in English.

  • Strong experience program management office (PMO).

  • Knowledge of supplier development tools and methods.

  • Good understanding of Supply Chain activities End-to-End as well as company and suppliers processes.

  • Judgment and decision-making skills supported by sound technical & business justification.

  • Demonstrated ability to discuss both technical and business issues with all levels of management within BD & Suppliers.
