Job Description Summary

As the Quality Administrator, you will support with the integration of the DOORS software for the MMS Infusion Platform Quality team in Research Centre Ireland (RCI), Limerick.

As the Quality Administrator your role will include management of user needs, requirements and specifications using DOORS as a management tool. You will interacts with key R&D project functions (e.g. Quality Engineer, Systems Engineer, Marketing, Medical Affairs) in the management of user needs, requirements and specifications encompassing traceability of same in projects.

Our vision for Medication Management Solutions at BD

With our technical capabilities, the Medication Management Solutions (MMS) team are able to manage multiple systems and our operational capabilities enable us to have medications available when and where needed, reducing inefficiency and waste for nursing and pharmacy teams.

This role is being offer on a 12 month Fixed-Term contract

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Support the Quality team through the application of the DOORS software for Verification & Validation activities and Traceability to test evidence for same.

  • Work with key project functions to ensure outputs of the DOORS process as they relate to project deliverables are delivered in accordance with agreed project timelines for related deliverables.

  • Develop close working relationships with core team functions who interact with the DOORS process.

  • Work with project core team Quality Engineers in the generation of DOORS test modules for requirements and specification documents in relation to Verification and Validation Plan generation for the project.

  • Work with project core team Quality Engineers in the creation of new hazard IDs in DOORS system.

  • Work with project core team Quality Engineers generation of Verification and Validation Reports by way of providing linkages in DOORS from requirements and specifications to the output reports generated by the project.

  • Work with project Core Team Systems Engineers in the creation, amendment, and obsolescence of product requirements in product PRD (Product Requirements Document).

  • Support with any requests, notifying the relevant team of any changes to requirements and what the next steps will be.

  • Input required documentation into the DOORS system as evidence of testing completion.

About you:

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills with the abilities to manage and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced office environment.

  • Experience working in a medical device setting with an understanding of Change orders and V&V activities is a strong advantage.

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and remote teams, promote work in multidisciplinary teams.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office - Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook.

  • Ability to work independently with moderate supervision.

  • Proficient multitasking capabilities, handling various responsibilities simultaneously.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Knowledge of electronic document management tools is an advantage.
