Bard has joined BD, together advancing the world of health. BD Urology & Critical Care, formerly Bard Medical, is looking for an innovative leader to fill a Product Manager position at our Louisville, CO Targeted Temperature Management location.

Summary of Position with General Responsibilities:

The Product Manager, with minimal supervision, is responsible for the strategic and tactical implementation of the marketing programs to support the fast-paced growth franchise of Targeted Temperature Management of Becton Dickinson. The successful candidate will develop a deep understanding of BD’s Targeted Temperature Management products and indications in order to fully support the market. The Product Manager demonstrates leadership within the BD TTM Marketing Department, takes an active role in day-to-day operations. Travel is 25-30% of the time.

Essential job Functions:

Key responsibilities include:

1. Engaging clinicians and driving quantitative voice of customer activities that result in cross-functional tactics and deliverables to support market development and sales growth.

2. Co-leads assigned product development teams and performs all associated marketing responsibilities. Represents the needs of the customers and the strategic vision to the team through launch and post-market assessment.

3. Develops and monitors sales tools and messaging that support the value proposition of the TTM franchise.

In addition the Product Manager is expected to:

  • Develop expertise in the field of Targeted Temperature Management - understand market segment potential, trends, and needs

  • Manage all aspects of the product lifecycle including new product development

  • Proactively identify and execute on sales support needs

  • Define and execute marketing plan for the segment

  • Monitor competitive and market activity to insightfully develop and implement strategies to support our value proposition

  • Develop and adjust forecasts with Sales leadership

  • Conduct quantitative voice of customer events

  • Define, develop and execute pricing strategies and programs to optimize sales results and profitability

  • Define 5-year sales plan for the segment

Basic Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal communication skills • Analytical/Strategic thinking ability and mental agility • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with team members, and ability to develop collegial relationships with physicians and nurses • Must possess a positive “can-do” attitude • Strong attention to detail • Must have a strong work ethic; must be a “self-starter” with the ability to work productively with minimal supervision • Ability to write and execute a marketing plan • Ability to travel • Proficient in the use of a personal computer with intermediate level of keyboarding skills. • Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel • Receptive to coaching and feedback
