Role Responsibilities:

o Support the sales process for MMS/MPS to achieve/exceed sales budget.

o In alignment with the business strategy, provide product training, clinical procedure training and technical assistance to customers as required, utilising relevant educational and training resources.

o Responsible for the coordination and execution of the RCNA IV Cannulation Course, where required.

o Tailor, plan for and coordinate education programs to meet individual customer requirements to support product trials, clinical simulations and implementations.

o Engage internal and external stakeholders to deliver on plan. Provide management with information on activity in the market place including competitive activity, product assessment and industry trends.

o Maintain an accurate up to date CRM database of all accounts including activities, in-servicing records and contact details.

o Attend relevant industry trade shows, conferences and meetings as required.

o Proactively develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and key opinion leaders.

o Where appropriate develop and maintain relationships with relevant associations and government representatives to raise the BD profile with relevant decision-makers in the healthcare environment.

o Have a sound knowledge of relevant Government legislation, standards and policies.

o Maintain a strong clinical knowledge relating to Medication Delivery, Infection Control, Healthcare Worker and Patient Safety issues.

o Liaise with Marketing and Sales Management to assist in the development and assessment of product support tools including instructions for use, points to practice, instructional DVDs etc.

o Assist the Account Managers with learning new clinical areas and building knowledge where clinical and technical knowledge gaps exist.

Skills and Experience:

o Registered Nurse (with current registration) with at least 3 years ICU/ED clinical experience

o A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent preferred

o Experience in the provision of adult education and training required

o Business acumen and commercial awareness are desirable

o Must have a high level of technical competence and clinical experience in Medication Delivery , Infusion Therapy, and Infection Control practices

o Ability to deal with multiple priorities and short time lines from time to time.

o Must be able to work with the Sales team to set and manage appropriate customer expectations

o Demonstrated ability in matching and delivering the appropriate level of education / support with the value of a business opportunity

o Demonstrated competence in computer literacy with knowledge of MS Office and Outlook Project management experience an asset

o Active involvement in relevant nursing societies is desirable

o Problem solving ability and demonstrated examples of innovative solutions.
